What is the job?

We are looking for a passionate Trailblazer to join our IT team supporting the European Global Segment (EGS) book of business in Cigna’s International Markets.

As Salesforce Developer you will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs as well as supporting business strategy and growth.

About you:
You will have excellent technical and communication skills and will interface directly with internal stakeholders and projects to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly.
You will also coach and oversee work of more junior Salesforce team members, promote best practice and coding standards as well and collaborate with Cigna's Salesforce CoE on a various Salesforce initiatives being undertaken.

Key Responsibilities:
Initially you will be involved in the BAU release work stream within Cigna's EGS Salesforce org, following that you will have opportunity to work as part of multiple squads within Cigna's European segments delivering both small enhancements as well as larger projects and initiatives for several Cigna's books of business.

You will be responsible for:
Maintaining system security and integrity
Minor enhancements inclusive of Solution Design Documentation
Support for bug fixing and integration with other systems
Deployment/Release of the change
Continuing on org's transition into Lightning
Enhancing and creating workflows, process builders, functions and configurations within the Salesforce environment and maintaining balance between point and click and coding solutions
Collaborate with Cigna's Architecture team in regards to project/small change intake and related Salesforce effort estimates
Participate in peer review sessions with other Salesforce developers and admins within Cigna's Salesforce community

Ideally you will have experience in / with:
Extensive experience as a Salesforce Administrator and Developer
Platform Developer I certified
General understanding of common IT applications and Agile
In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC , both Sales and Service clouds and have successfully expanded on those capabilities through the use of custom code (Apex), Visualforce and integration with external systems
Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions would be beneficial
Knowledge on Salesforce REST, SOAP and Metadata API.
Knowledge on Git and release process
Exceptional English verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
JavaScript, HTML, Java, SOAP APIs, REST (JSON, XML)
Process modelling tools and best practices
Data modelling
Preferable CPQ and DevOps tooling

Nice to have:
Salesforce.com certified Platform Developer II and above
Knowledge on Dev Ops/Copado
Vlocity
