The Role:

As part of the Process & Tools team you will play a critical role in managing and optimising the business processes and tools that support our integrated Go To Market Organisation. Current tools include but are not limited to Salesforce, Pardot, Zuora and the Celonis Partner Portal. As a Salesforce System Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and developing customised solutions within the Salesforce platform. This will involve meeting with project managers, analysing project objectives, developing new Salesforce applications, creating workflows, maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting application errors. The role will act as the primary point of contact for all topics related to the development of Salesforce as well as the connection of third-party systems (e.g. partner community).

To ensure success as a Salesforce System Administrator, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce System Administrator can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that perfectly meet the evolving needs of the company.

The work you’ll do:

  • Act as one of the administrators for our tools (user creation, mgmt enablement and support, tool maintenance, data quality & integrity)
  • Maintain systems integrations to promote best practices and seamless processes
  • Actively troubleshoot issues within our tools and drive timely resolution
  • Work with end-users to provide best practices and tips on tool usage including training, documentation, and support as necessary
  • Develop a solid understanding of the department-specific business processes and work with the business to design and implement new processes. Model and implement business processes as data structures
  • Continuously evolve existing processes & tools (e.g. create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, standard and custom fields, layouts, workflows, validation rules, automations, cadences, templates and other enhancements)
  • Stay current with tool releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed
  • Manage projects and initiatives together with business and analytics teams
  • Developing customised solutions within the Salesforce platform
  • Testing the stability and functionality of the applications
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
  • Writing documentation and providing technical training for the Process & Tools team
  • Maintaining and enhancing the security and integrity of the application software

The qualifications you need:

  • You are a structured personality who does not lose sight of the big picture
  • You are a problem solver
  • You can listen very well, are communicative and feel comfortable as an interface between different departments
  • You have experience developing customer-facing interfaces and an advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms
  • You have strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Project Management and the ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues are your skills
  • You show a high willingness to continuously develop your knowledge and skill set
  • Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and Visual force would be preferred
  • You hold an IT related degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, Mathematics or related degree
