The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems.

Responsibilities:
- Review functional specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- In-depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are met.
- Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, document detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and test scenarios for functional and regression testing.
- Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
- Communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
- Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing, and coordination of release activities.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision
- Ability to think strategically, demonstrating critical thought in a complex business environment
- Demonstrated effective professional communication (written and verbal) skills
- Mortgage Experience, preferred
- SQL Query
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Quality Assurance best practices
Education/Certification/License Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a related field
Working Experience
- 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience
- 3+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience
