As a Salesforce developer on our new centralized Engineering team Team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to built new innovative products and lead integrating exciting products across our educational programs.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ownership of key technical aspects of the Salesforce platform, including custom development
  • Design/build/deploy new solutions and capabilities with new and existing Salesforce instances.
  • Responsible for developing in Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customizations and integration
  • Provide support across systems and related integrations native to the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
  • Engage with systems that are at the cutting edge of technology, pioneering new methods and approaches to delivering software, serving customers, and enabling large, distributed, worldwide educational program teams.
  • Work directly with other engineering and product teams to identify opportunities to share learnings, technology and best practices across all teams
  • Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data and software to drive business decisions at scale

This role can be performed near any US AWS office in the following cities: Arlington, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Seattle.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $XXX/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.   • Certified Salesforce Developer
  • 3+ years experience in Salesforce point and click configuration using workflows, validation rules, sales process setup, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards at a large organization
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs
  • Experience working with Canvas and Vocareum
  • Experience as lead or technical architect of a Salesforce org
  • Experience with development using AWS Services
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills and excellent problem solving skills
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
