We are looking for a Director, Salesforce Platform(f/m/d) to join our Global Salesforce Team. Join us to build an in-house Salesforce ecosystem within Delivery Hero and our global entities. Our task is to understand the strategic business needs and to translate these into our Salesforce platform. As a Director, Salesforce Platform, you will be working on Salesforce core products, designing and implementing the key technical components of the Salesforce Platform based solutions. Work with 100+ engineers to create distinctive customer solutions, leveraging the full power of the Salesforce platform in the Salesforce ecosystem at Delivery Hero. You will share implementation best practices and partner with other teams to conduct design/code reviews during major project milestones. You will have responsibility for the Architecture, Governance and Operation model for multi-org strategy that support various business units at Delivery Hero.

Your Mission:

• Owns platform vision, strategy and roadmap

• Enterprise wide oversight of the Salesforce platform

• Represents platform in the Technology Portfolio strategy councils and Business lead for platform advocacy, relevance and value

• Owns relationships with Salesforce, System Integration and AppExchange partners

• Owns preferred System Integration decision for platform and products

• Maximizes platform attributes such as usability, performance, scalability, and security

• Understands the technical platform and platform ecosystem domains in depth

• Influence / Coach Enterprise Architecture on modern evolutionary platform architecture

• Defines, harvests and coaches on platform best practices and design principles

• Responsible for delivery of platform insights across products

• Lead a small, effective and independent team of Platform, Data and DevOps engineers with targeted focus to develop and communicate measurements of platform progress and business impact

• Stays abreast of new and changing technology, platform developments and applicability to Deluxe

• Owns and responsible for platform licensing and consumption

Your heroic skills:

• Salesforce certifications desired - Salesforce Certified Application & System Architect

• Advanced knowledge of software development life-cycle

• Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

• 10+ years of experience with cloud technology & related technologies

• 5+ years of experience in the same or related role.

• Understanding of system and data integration architecture and a strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

• Experience and understanding of software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, Waterfall

Preferred Certification:

• Certified TOGAF practitioner.
