A regional Utility company going through a significant period of technology transformation, where they are looking to drive the enterprise wide deployment of an CRM iteration of Salesforce are looking for some technical support to support the wider transformation project team. The particular role, is a Salesforce Administrator who will support the implementation of the CRM capability within its core business with the focus to drive the integration and adoption of Salesforce on an underlying bespoke solution.
This will be an extremely pivotal role to the transformation programme and the right individual will be responsible for the following duties:

- Work closely with Business users, to understand, analyse and recommend a Salesforce configuration solution to meet their requirements for Day 1 operation
- Working from a prioritisation matrix, using your knowledge & experience of Salesforce, to design, build and implement the solution configuration from defined business requirements (including business processes, user interfaces) into the client side Org
- Client side Salesforce Org management including white-listing, user access, profiles and permissions, page layouts and workflow configuration
- Day to day support and maintenance and building new functionality
- Working with the Supplier System Admin resources on solution configuration, build and any customisation change requirements
- Working with the Group IT team on system access and integration
- Input to and resolution of build issues arising
- Identifying process automation and other quick win business process improvement opportunities
- Liaising with the Training lead on training and roll-out considerations
- Walk through any internal challenges and issues regarding the to-be configuration and work to present back solutions for impact assessment
- Work with the Programme Manager, Change Lead, Software Services and Group IT on scoping requirements for future version releases post go-live (Business Readiness phase)
- Provide guidance and insight to the programme team regarding ‘best practice’ use of Salesforce and ways of working
- Provide guidance and support to the Business Readiness work-stream as required in the programme plan to prepare the business for Day 1 operation of the productThis is an extremely exciting programme where you will be joining at the Design phase through to build and test to subsequent implementation and stabilisation, to be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrable Systems Administrator experience - a proven track-record as an Salesforce.com administrator
- Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
- Strong data management abilities and a demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or AGILE environment preferred
- Good understanding of Deployment Process (Jenkins and GIT knowledge preferred)
- Business analysis skills
- You will be a keen problem solver and able to communicate and build strong relationships with your colleagues and business users as well as collaborating with your team.
- You are passionate about Salesforce and keeping up to date with the latest releases
- Understanding of Salesforce development principles and best practices: Single trigger/process per object, process data in bulk where possible, use of logs to diagnose errors
- Experience on the Salesforce release process (testing and deployment) and using Sandboxes to test/deploy features
- Experience of using Jira
