The Scrum Master leads consultative engagements with complex enterprise customers, partnering with key team members to create compelling visions while helping complete delivering value, goals and strategies. They are servant leaders who work with the team throughout the iterations, using strong facilitation skills, interpersonal skills, functional and/or technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge, industry experience, consulting experience, and knowledge of their client’s business to deliver customer return on investment.
Scrum Masters are strong presenters, coaches and facilitators who lead the Agile Team. They also help remove impediments and champion an environment for impactful team dynamics, continuous flow, and steadfast improvement.
They interact with both technical and functional customers to understand and assist with the flow of gathering requirements, backlog grooming, and facilitate and lead PI Planning and Scrum events. They also show a strong understanding of System Thinking and typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives. to provide oversight, leadership, and coaching to cross-functional agile teams.
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating team level Agile processes around requirements definition, scope, and delivery of initiatives. You will work closely with Agile teams, business partners and leadership to drive continuous improvement throughout the delivery teams and lifecycle of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and facilitates Agile events (sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, PI Planning, etc)
  • Increases the efficiency of the team by driving the adoption of Agile Scrum / SAFe Lean processes
  • Continuously assess the Agile maturity of the team and coaches the team to successful state
  • Ensures Agile-based processes are defined, actively contributes to the improvement of the team's agile practices and fosters normalized story estimating
  • Assists, coordinates and attends PI planning, ART events, Scrum of Scrums as well as Agile Scrum Team execution and feature completion tracking for Scrum Teams
  • Identifies and creates metrics that measure and report on team performance, backlogs health and continuous improvement
  • Advances and assists in the resolution of impediments to support the completion of results
  • Participates and contributes to product roadmap and release plans
  • Supports the implementation of improvement areas identified in team retrospectives
  • Mentors team on Agile practices, principles, and values while advancing the Agile capabilities of the team as the authoritative resource
  • Facilitates discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
  • Helps clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics
  • Excellent written, presentation, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to clearly coach, mentor, lead and empower teams to commitment and delivery
  • Generate positive feedback from internal teams and leadership
  • Show continued professional growth and development


Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • BA/BS degree or foreign equivalent
  • 3-5 years of proven experience
  • Salesforce project implementation experience
  • Agile experience and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Consultant (SPC), or any Scaled Agile Framework certifications preferred
  • Shown results leading customer and/or partner success stories
  • Large group/team facilitation experience
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience
  • Experience in Salesforce Health Cloud preferred
  • Experience in Call Center preferred
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes in the Health or Insurance industries
  • Experienced acting as a Scrum Master
  • Nice to have integration mapping and wire framing experience.
