Terrific 9+ months contract in Plano, TX for a Salesforce Architect. Will be responsible for implementing software architectures that are consistent within a larger Enterprise Architecture direction. In that capacity, the Architect must be able to provide all levels of design needed for the solution (including infrastructure, application, and business), mentor and lead development teams, and occasionally participate in the development of technically challenging portions of the solution.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform.
  • Troubleshoot (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and other associated apps and tools) key customer implementation issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution.
  • Responsible for end-to-end Solution Design, Architecture and Salesforce best practices to integrate with the company’s ecosystem and infrastructure.

Analysis and Design
  • Conducts fact gathering sessions with users.
  • Consults with Technical Managers and Business Owners to identify and analyze technology needs and problems.
  • Participates in group application design activities.
  • Performs data flow diagramming and/or process modeling (code architecture).
  • Independently design, configure and implement Salesforce software and modules.
  • Some development will be required for shared services and components or technically challenging areas where the skills of an architect are needed.
o Providing senior management with process and design recommendations.
o Architectural decision-making.

Strategy Alignment
  • Works with the other technical team members to continually improve implementation strategies, development standards and other departmental processes and documentation.
  • Provides technical assistance and mentoring to lower-level Software Engineers.
  • Communicates plans, status and issues to management on a regular basis.
  • Adheres to department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices.

Production Support
  • Identify problems and analyze potential solutions including workarounds.
  • Work with other Technology departments on integrated system support, as required.


Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and guide technical resources from third party implementation partner(s).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Architect in a mid to large size organization with Salesforce Cloud development.
  • 10+ years of progressive, broad-based IT experience successfully implementing complex IT applications and/or developing efficient effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Salesforce Certified Solution Architect to serve as a Trusted Advisor, drive conversations with Business Enablement Stakeholders and advise diverse teams, which include customer and partner resources in technical and functional delivery aspects at a program level.
  • Experience migrating from Siebel to Salesforce or Oracle Service Cloud (OSC) to Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Deep Salesforce Service Cloud product knowledge and call center implementation experience, especially on Force.com, Apex, Visual Force (Pages, Component & Controllers), Workflows, SOQL, SOSL, etc.
  • In depth knowledge of SFDC application along with experience in successfully expanding on those capabilities using custom code (APEX) and/or integration with external systems.
  • Demonstrated Experience in establishing CI/CD Salesforce pipeline using technologies like SFDX, Git, Jenkins/Capado, Codescan/SonarQube, Metadata APIs, ANT tool etc.
  • Demonstrated Experience in OAuth, SAML, etc. for the Salesforce Implementation.
  • Ability to partner with domain architects to develop the end-to-end solution architecture including application, infrastructure, data, integration and security domains.
  • Advanced skills in creating process flow diagrams and flowcharts using Visio or similar charting tool.
  • BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field.
  • Strong communication skills, Creativity in problem solving within a team environment.
