The business analyst also assists with the creation, and curation, of technical documentation. Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.Additional Position Information: Key Relationships: Reports to:VP System Development Responsibilities:Accountabilities:
Work with system end users to define new system requirements and write program specifications.
  • Drive identification of requirements across business stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes; research, evaluate, and suggest solutions with respect to standards, industry best practices, and acceptance criteria, e.g. performs performance testing, requirements reviews, and documentation reviews
  • Determine, develop and document user requirements (in the form of user stories)
  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
  • Works with stakeholder to establish business requirements priority and sequencing
  • Provides developers with a clear understanding of requirements clarifying discrepancies as they occur


Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Coordinates system improvement activies with system owner
  • Seeks technical guidance(developers, administrators) to understand the impact of proposed changes prior to submitting requirements to development
  • Active participant in all aspects of change management related to system improvements


Ensure that systems solutions work as planned
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all enhancements and defects have accurate and understandable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with and assist technical staff on documenting their solutions, ensure that all technical documentation is housed in a central and well-organized repository
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development


Support additional duties as assigned
  • On occasion may be asked to perform other duties as they are assignedQualifications:
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • An Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science
  • Solid (2+ years) understanding and experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, experience with NPSP highly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience as a business analyst (preferably working in the non-profit sector)
  • 4+ years of experience working on solutions for non-profit fundraising or sales, marketing initiatives, digital transformation
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Occasional Weekend & evening work required
  • Remote leadership with up to 20% travel pending conditions
