Global Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Manager
Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Global Sales Force Effectiveness Manager to join our Interventional Urology (IU) team.
The Global SFE Manager is a key role supporting the Global commercial organization including Interventional Urology North America and EEAP (Europe Emerging Markets Asia Pacific). Responsible for overall sales process effectiveness and optimization, including leadership of the following: sales planning and reporting, quota setting and management, and CRM system data integrity and accountability to ensure reporting and metrics are accurate and reliable. The position is responsible for enabling Interventional Urology revenue growth strategy through supporting its expanding and demanding sales teams, and creating scale to enable future growth in the industry. The role has a strong focus on the technology and tools that will enable UC sales force, as well as related process design and optimization. This position also partners closely with channel management and internal partners to coordinate strategic initiatives, and is responsible for representing and advocating for IU in enterprise technology / operational excellence initiatives. This position requires a candidate with a strong technical and operational background, as well as deep understanding of business and a change management mindset.
This position is accountable for proactive management of day to day operations of the team, as well as ensuring that all processes and systems are efficient and compliant. Through talent management, excellent execution and continuous improvement the position ensures that Coloplast business goals are met.
Major Areas of Accountability
Sales Force Effectiveness Management
Responsible for managing and organizing all IU Operational Sales Excellence, ensuring alignment, efficiency and compliance always.
Ensure CRM becomes an enabler of growth and that we utilize CRM data and other data source (Co-Visit App) to maximize our commercial opportunities
Manage cross functional strategic projects related to sales operations and CRM to ensure business needs are met, adequate capabilities, seamless implementation and effective utilization.
Manage and enhance the implementation and adoption of CRM
Lead major technology initiatives, including automating IU Salesforce data feeds and deploying online account management tools.
Optimize existing processes through appropriate use of technology and policies related to sales support activities; implements new processes as they become relevant.
Sales Operations Reporting and Analytics
Proactively diagnose the sales operations reporting and analytics requirements of the sales team, especially related to pipeline, internal and external contacts, create roadmaps, design and deliver processes, metrics, and resource allocation accordingly. Assists in setting long term information technology goals for IU globallyProactively provide data analytics on market trends and product mix to commercial leaders
Liaison with Sales, Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources to help with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis.
Support with optimising call planning, market segmentation and targeting and business opportunity management.
Maintain global cross-functional partnerships with internal team, including field sales and marketing, to ensure alignment of business objectives
Proactively seeks opportunities in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a strong selling model within Interventional Urology.
Continually strive to streamline sales operations, increase employee satisfaction and grow our business in line with IU Agenda.
Lead Change
Lead and drive change management across global commercial organization to ensure consistent practices are being followed.
Lead related training initiatives and change management.
Essential Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Business
Experience working in a large global medical device organization, working within multi-cultural settings and cross-functional global teams
Proficient in CRM systems
Ability to travel, including international, up to 30%
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Superior analytical and problem solving skills; hands on with operations and execution
Strong leadership skills and organization navigation skills; ability to lead a cross-function team and deliver major projects within deadline
In depth knowledge within the medical device industry including quality requirements and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication skills (English); ability to articulate vision and influence stakeholders by understanding their perspectives and speaking their language
Ability to influence all levels of management.
Ability to train, teach and lead others.
Ability to adapt communication depending on stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong entrepreneurship and work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
