The Salesforce Solution Engineer position will lead the ongoing design/build and maintenance of our salesforce.com application of multiple cloud based systems including sales, service, and marketing. The successful candidate will have experience in translating business needs into scalable solution recommendations that fit within current and future states of the CRM, improving and developing processes and workflows within salesforce.com. This individual will work closely with functional business units, SME’s and stakeholders to identify, develop and deploy new features, business processes and integrations with other 3rd party applications.

This key individual will be the subject matter expert within the Salesforce core application, partnering with multiple businesses that operate within the same instance. Responsible for researching and thoroughly planning user stories/projects, providing end user support, drive change management, maintenance and improvements over this application.

Essential Duties:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce core application and is considered the SME within sales cloud and service clouds
  • Understand stakeholder business processes and needs, and partner to design scalable solutions that consider other teams in the ecosystem
  • Research and lead implementations for new enhancements/products associated with the core platform
  • Utilize agile methodologies for planning, organizing, and implementing solutions within the platform
  • Collaborate to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a part of requirements gathering process
  • Drives the thorough planning of user stories/projects
  • Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs or workflows
  • Participate in planning testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments
  • Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
  • Provides advice and training to end-users; Coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Display and execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods
  • Leads and participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring
  • Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
  • Troubleshoot, and resolve reported problems, as assigned
  • Enable best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years experience as a Salesforce.com administrator/engineer
  • Salesforce Admin certified
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud certifications highly desired
  • Pardot, CTI, Inbox, knowledge a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, implementation, support and administration of complex applications and related products
  • Experience using agile methodologies is desired
  • Experience with identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
  • Working knowledge of peripheral technologies (i.e. Jira)
  • Hands on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency and effectiveness
  • Understands software and hardware requirements of varied systems
  • Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications; Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems
  • Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices
  • Experience mentoring/coaching is desired
  • Strong ability to multitask and triage/resolve issues with urgency
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
  • Display and execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and negotiations skills
  • Demonstrated soft skills required such as presentation of ideas and clearly articulate the concepts to senior management
  • Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse group of customers

Hire Range/Rate:

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
