A 10-month fixed term opportunity has arisen for an experienced Applications Support Analyst to join a global business and become an integral part of our Assurance-Applications team. The role is remote based, and location is flexible depending on candidate preference.

The successful candidate will possess strong Salesforce administration proficiency and provide application and administration support for Assurance portfolio applications. We’re looking for an analytical thinker who can learn new systems quickly and has 3-5 years’ experience in a similar experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow Incident Management and Change Management processes.
  • Manage own work and take ownership of tasks in order to meet application support SLAs
  • Assist with testing process for ongoing application improvements.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines and maintain a high ethical standard
  • Undertake any special task as directed from time to time
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours on occasion (eg. video meetings with international stakeholders)

The Ideal Candidate/Work Experience Required:
Relevant application support experience for web-based and desktop application software
For salesforce.com oriented roles:
  • Salesforce.com configuration and administration
  • Some understanding of salesforce development concepts including SQL, Force.com, VisualForce, Lightning, Apex
  • Experience with Sharepoint support an advantage, but not essential
For .Net oriented roles:
  • Experience in SQL Server and SQL desirable
  • Manual testing experience desirable
  • Scrum, Agile
  • Writing support documentation

Minimum Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Information Technology or associated degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant technical certifications desirable
