Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire®, National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash®, FedACH®, and Check Services. Senior System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Salesforce platform activities including enabling key capabilities in Salesforce, should posses broad knowledge of customizing Salesforce, regularly configuring the platform, managing (internal and externa) users, and assisting the development team to execute (pre and post) deployment steps on the platform to support key business needs. Performs work independently with limited supervision and direction from the Salesforce Platform manager and Lead Platform Developer. This position does not have direct reports and will report to the Salesforce Platform Manager.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Platform Lifecycle Management
  • Maintains system efficiency and stability, ensures the security and integrity of all systems, equipment, and data
  • Performs system administration activities such as creating, modifying, and deleting users, and managing security access for Users
  • Responds to Salesforce outages and other critical platform related issues
  • Develops and enhances processes and technical documentation, creates back-up procedures, and executes pre and post deployment steps
  • Participates and executes deployment steps with the Salesforce Release Manager during Salesforce Deployments
  • Coordinates with department leadership to plan, design, and schedule the release
  • Partners with the Salesforce Platform Developers to solve Salesforce configuration changes
  • Manages cross-functional dependencies and adjusts schedule, priorities, and releases as appropriate
Operational Excellence
  • Manages platform related problems, makes decisions, completes trade-off analysis and manages scope to ensure delivery of desired business outcomes
  • Prioritize defect / bug resolution and partners with the development team to execute deployment steps
  • Tracks, reports, and communicates Salesforce platform metrics, issues and status updates to Platform Manager and various levels of customers, stakeholders, and partners
  • Manages Internal and External Salesforce Users
Your Background
  • 4+ years experience working with Salesforce CRM
  • Strongly desirable to have Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Strongly desirable to have Platform App Builder Certification
  • Two or more years of technical work experience
  • Two or more years of experience in Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud)
  • Advanced technical understanding of platform capabilities
  • Advanced understanding of technology delivery and platform management.
  • Strong understanding of agile life cycle methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of the Standard Salesforce Object and Configuration setup
  • Strong understanding of One-on-Many or Many-to-Many Relationships between different objects of Salesforce
  • Basic Knowledge in navigating through the Salesforce Setup menu
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage projects and time
  • Strong Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and implementation partners

Requirements
