Summary: Liberty IT Solutions, a Booz Allen company, is seeking a Sr Developer, Salesforce to work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Junior Developers to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts. The Sr Developer, Salesforce is responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce DevOps including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations.
The Sr Developer, Salesforce role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions on the Salesforce platform that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement.
The Sr Developer, Salesforce has proven experience with Apex code, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and Salesforce APIs.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Required Years of Experience: 5+ years, or 5+ years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Responsibilities: 
  • Respect individual values regarding diversity, inclusion, and customs
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce data structures and understanding of how to implement them to fulfill complex process and reporting requirements
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on industry and Liberty best practices and business needs
  • Assist in the development of Liberty and team best practices, SOPs, and other development process documents
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in Salesforce applications
  • Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions
  • Contribute to numerous projects/priorities within Agile development methodologies and development best practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
  • Work closely with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products
  • Identify and implement AppExchange products to be integrated into the overall platform and application architecture
  • Research and development of new Salesforce prototypes, proofs of concept and applications
  • Research, development, and sustainment of integrations and working closely with team members on operational and development staff
  • Maintain certifications and current knowledge of Salesforce platform advancements and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective
  • Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client
  • Manage, participate and engage in all team meetings and Agile ceremonies
  • Manage documentation of best practices and operational procedures
  • Facilitate continuous improvement across the development and delivery teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of industry experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Must have demonstrable knowledge and practical application of Apex code, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and Salesforce APIs
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • Experience committing code & metadata to git repositories
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Eggplant)
  • Unique combination of being business-focused and highly analytical while also having a good technical background in the Salesforce platform
  • Ability to work on multiple diverse tasks independently with minimal supervision and deliver results on time.
  • Must be willing to mentor team members and provide strong advice to team members at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to produce quality technical documentation and analysis
  • Ability to work with diverse remote teams in a geographically dispersed environment
  • Experience with Agile Development or Software development lifecycles, translating business requirements to User Stories and Technical Designs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Federal Government, VA and/or Healthcare IT experience.
  • Extensive experience writing software documentation
  • Experience developing and deploying using Salesforce DevOps technologies/tools such as GitHub, Agile Accelerator, Copado, Salesforce DX, Eggplant etc.
  • Additional Salesforce and IT industry certifications (e.g Service Cloud, Community Cloud)
