JOB TITLE: Software Engineer / Salesforce Administrator
Location: ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA) NOT Remote
ADS, Inc. has an immediate job opening for a Software Engineer / Salesforce Administrator in our Virginia Beach Headquarters. This role will work with a great team to create world-class applications to automate and improve the productivity of the business processes across all ADS departments (Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, Finance, etc.). Willingness to learn and knowledge of the Oracle eBusiness Suite and Salesforce.com is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and remedy daily operational helpdesk tickets dealing with customer relationship management (CRM) related issues and concerns
- Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flows, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
- Work with end users to develop and implement new modules and/or functionality
- Contribute to IT knowledge repository
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements for new modules and/or functionality development
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity
EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator is preferred
- Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of system/software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices and methodologies
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to work and drive tasks independently
- Experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and functional is preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of common business practices is required
