Your opportunity
  • You will be responsible for the hands-on technical aspects involved in delivering Salesforce.com and systems integration projects.
  • Develop programming languages including: Apex, Visualforce, Web Services, and SOQL
  • Use your knowledge of data structures and understanding of data migration
  • Complete various Salesforce administration tasks
  • Support both project and ongoing support/maintenance activities related to Salesforce.com integrated systems
  • Assist in the development of testing, training development/support, and launch plans to aid in delivery of a quality product, crafted for user acceptance and adoption
  • Use Jira or Salesforce Case management to track and report progress on bug fixes and improvements
  • Assist management in determining high-level project goals that serve as benchmarks of overall project/product success
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Must Have Skills
  • Knowledge and working experience with source control and continuous integration
  • 5+ years building, developing and implementing custom applications/components
  • 3+ years developing custom data integrations between multiple systems or databases
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience with the configuration and ongoing administration of Salesforce.com
  • 5 years’ experience working in an agile development environment
  • Proficiency in JSON, JQuery, Apex, Visualforce, Web Services, SOQL, Javascript and HTML
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information technology concepts to non-technology personnel.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with managers of customer/user groups to support user adoption, ensure proper use of Salesforce.com, and productive growth and change around the application and corresponding business processes
  • Understanding of the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance
  • Proven ability to learn technical concepts and translate them to the appropriate audience

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com API, SOAP and REST API, integrations with other enterprise applications is preferred
  • Salesforce Lightning experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of ExactTarget, Pardot or other email blast or Marketing Automation applications a plus
  • Certified Salesforce Developer preferred
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Asset Management or Investment Banking is preferred

  • Understand and follow laws and regulations applicable for your role, seeking the help of your supervising manager or Compliance if additional guidance is required
  • Understand and abide by all Janus Henderson policies applicable to your role, and seek support/guidance of the policy owner guidance when required
  • You are ultimately accountable for your actions and responsible for seeking further information on any or all of the above as necessary.

Compensation Information
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
