Bullhorn has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Lead to serve as a leader on our team of talented engineers and QA professionals. As an Engineering Lead, you will collaborate with and influence employees at all levels across Bullhorn. You will lead, motivate, challenge, and support your Development team to maximize velocity and quality to deliver world-class products and a happy, engaged team.
As an Engineering Lead, a typical day might include:
- Providing leadership, inspiration, and direction to the development team while ensuring business objectives and client expectations are met
- Working closely with Architects to elaborate on design approaches
- Providing direction on technical, architectural and design efforts
- Driving alignment and accountability for technical implementation
- Delivering high quality software products and ongoing alignment with business objectives
- Managing delivery of multiple and concurrent product releases
This job might be for you if:
- You have experience serving as a lead role within an Agile/ scrum environment
- You love the Salesforce platform and you have extensive experience with building and supporting mission critical SaaS applications based on this platform
- You are dedicated to effective hiring, including creating staffing plans, writing job descriptions, attracting talent, hiring and retaining great employees
- You have a passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes and software development
- You can demonstrate strong Salesforce development experience
- You are experienced in Salesforce configuration and experienced to work with complex Salesforce org structures
- You have Apex, Visualforce & preferably Lightning (or strong JavaScript) programming skills
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming concepts, as we like to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- You love working with a team to get to the root of a problem and the passion to minimize the chances of encountering that problem again
Bonus points for:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related major
- You have (or are working towards) Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Certifications
- Understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines (using Git, Jenkins)
- Experience in an ISV related environment
- Active in Salesforce Communities and passion for knowledge sharing
