Role Purpose
Working as part of the Salesforce Centre for Excellence, this role will help deliver the technology elements for feature upgrades, core platform integrations and delivery best practices on the global Salesforce platform. You will be part of a new permanent team responsible for the overall development and delivery of Salesforce upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the SFDC Delivery function, managing skilled workers in a number of remote locations
- Design and implement a scalable, efficient and operationally excellent delivery workflow, based on excellent process design
- Ensure every delivery through the platform is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality
- Coach, develop and upskill the Delivery team through coaching and leadership
- Work alongside the Project Management team to ensure Delivery function is capable of meeting business requirements and desired timelines
- Work alongside Salesforce Technical Architect to design new solutions, presenting multiple options to match business requirements
- Bring expertise in estimating and prioritizing workload adequately for themselves and team members
- Ensure the best possible quality of the application, focusing on peer-to-peer code reviews and full end to end test executions
- Responsible for the effective execution and ongoing support of Salesforce projects and initiatives
- Constantly looking for ways to improve the platform through Salesforce best practice and ongoing feature upgrades
Key Experiences
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience
- Proven track record of leading a high performance Salesforce/Technical Delivery team
- Salesforce.com Administrator certification would be advantageous
- Salesforce.com developer certificates would be advantageous
- Experience within a large, global organisation is preferred
- Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications
- High energy and passion for the job with a can-do attitude
- Must be a self-starter and willing to get stuck in
- Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
- Proven ability to deliver on commitments
