You will be working closely with the Manager of Sales Operations and wider business stakeholders to lead and drive the development of Currencycloud’s Salesforce CRM system. This will include defining the architecture of the Salesforce solution, providing guidance to technical and functional teams and utilising your experience to set best practice within the organisation. Through the use of various tools and resources, you will collaborate with a multitude of teams to ensure the Salesforce solution addresses immediate challenges across the business and is scalable to meet the needs of the business as we grow over time.

What will I be doing?
- Gather requirements from key stakeholders to understand the current and future needs and capabilities of the business, determining appropriate system design and change requirements to drive the organisation's targeted business outcomes and deliver agreed upon solutions.
- Challenge stakeholders on their assumptions of how they will successfully implement their ideas and challenge scope why this is needed.
- Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business capabilities and operating models.
- Consult with infrastructure development teams and projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate the solutions architecture.
- Lead implementation efforts and mentor a robust Sales Operations team.
I will nail the role if I have...
- Someone with a track-record of achievement who thrives on being accountable for their own success.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect.
- Salesforce certification (e.g. System or Application Architect).
- Knowledge of API protocols: REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
- Knowledge of developing in Salesforce Apex.
- Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Enhanced communication skills with the ability to negotiate with C-suite executives.
- Outstanding relationship building skills.
- Experience of working in a SaaS based solutions environment within Financial Services.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment.
