Job Details

Salesforce Industries’ goal is to deliver rapid, customer solutions for sophisticated business problems. Our Industries Developers are key players in this objective, as they can demonstrate native Industries functionality to deliver customer requirements quickly with minimal customization.

You’ll be responsible for turning the program design of our Solution Architects and Technical Architects into a configured solution that meets the customer’s needs.
Working predominantly in Agile scrum teams, you’ll be building out sophisticated business processes using native Vlocity/ Salesforce Industries technology and the toolkit of the Force.com platform.
You’ll be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle - from low-level design and development through to deployment and post-production support.
You’ll acquire a deep product knowledge of the Industry vertical applications, and will be able to mentor customer (and system integrator) resources and accelerate knowledge transfer to them.
You’ll also act as a champion in the wider Industries partner ecosystem, sharing standard methodologies, lessons learned and time-saving techniques.
Qualifications
You’ll have 5+ years experience of working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques
You’ll have a consistent track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise CRM implementations
Ideally, you will have extensive experience of building solutions in at least one of our industries - healthcare, communications, media, insurance, life sciences or public sector
You’ll be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
You’ll have superb communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers, or delivering a technical presentation
You will possess a configure-first approach so that the full power of the Vlocity (now Salesforce Industries) platform is utilized while minimizing the amount of custom coding needed.
You’ll be a standout colleague and work with multiple team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Analytical mentality and good problem-solving skills.
Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education and self-study.

Technical Skills
Salesforce Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Lightning and LWC)
Proficiency in Salesforce capabilities such as workflows, process builder, flows etc.
Familiarity working with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Ant etc.)
Broad knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and/or Experience Cloud is helpful
Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool
Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
Knowledge of relational databases as well as SOSL/SOQL in Salesforce environments.
Solid understanding of data modeling, and ETL tools
Process modeling tools and standard methodologies
Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM
Experience in Vloicity components is a plus (Data Raptors, OmniScript, Integration Procedures, Flex Cards etc.)
Preferred Skills
A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies (Force.com Platform, Eclipse, Oracle, MySQL, Visual Studio 2012)
Experience with CPQ processes
Desired Certifications / Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Platform Developer / Platform App Builder
Sales Cloud Administrator / Service Cloud Administrator
