Job Details 
The Business Analyst will assist with the rapid development, testing, and roll-out for implementations and advisory engagements that enhance our customers' experience and success across the Salesforce Customer Success Platform. In this position, the candidate will work with internal stakeholders and senior team members to drive the collection and prioritization of requests, help gather detailed requirements, assist with data analysis as needed, participate in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinate with our scrum team on sprint planning and execution. He or she will create and document user stories for sprints, participate in testing and preparation for deployment; assist with post-production support and process documentation. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for understanding our core business objectives and proactively identifying process improvements and opportunities to integrate change management strategies.


Key Accountabilities (Impact) 
  • Engage with team members who work with internal stakeholders to drive prioritization, requirements gathering processes, and overall user adoption. 
  • Attend daily stand-ups, story-pointing meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure progress on requests and removal of blockers. 
  • Support organizational design and assist with creating and maintaining business requirements and functional design documents. 
  • Assist the team with integrating change management activities into project plans 
  • Participate in reviewing business requirements, functional design documents, and creating project documentation. 
  • As required, participate in UAT and Go-Live process, including test planning, development of test scripts, testing logistics, test execution, and status reporting. 
  • Recommend and participate in process analysis and improvements.


Basic Requirements 
  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant working on projects in a matrix organization. 
  • Experience with Nonprofit and Higher Education organizations 
  • Consultative approach, including the ability to gather customer needs and translate them into technical requirements. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work. 
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a process-driven mindset, and resourcefulness. 
  • Flexibility in shifting direction quickly when priorities change; excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as receptive listening skills. 
  • Accountable team player with a constructive attitude, problem-solving, and customer service mindset who is able to work with virtual cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with the Salesforce.com platform and related cloud or web-based technologies 
  • Ability to travel up to 20-30%


Additional Experience/Skills Desired: 
  • Salesforce certifications: 
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator 
    • Nonprofit Cloud Consultant 
    • Education Cloud Consultant 
    • Sales Cloud Consultant 
    • Service Cloud Consultant 
    • Community Cloud Consultant 
  • Experience working in/with consulting and customer success is a plus. 
  • Experience working with Scrum teams and Agile Methodology is a plus. 
  • Able to effectively create succinct, effective documentation (e.g., solution designs and training materials). 
  • Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend point of view to a variety of audiences.
