Who are Metapack?
We are a tech company that works with a lot of the world’s biggest ecommerce players to integrate them with over 450 carriers around the world to make delivery easy. We are a multi-tenant SaaS platform. We give them the platform to help consumers decide their delivery preference and track the parcel’s progress whilst also providing the retailer with intelligent smart decisions about how to send the parcel – all underpinned with lots of data. We work with well-known global retailers and major brands such as ASOS, Adidas, Burberry, John Lewis, Boohoo, eBay, and Zalando. In fact, we work with so many retailers and carriers it’s highly likely that you’ve interacted with us at some point when ordering goods online!
In August 2018, we were acquired by Fortune 100’s 2nd fastest growing company, stamps.com. We have super ambitious and exciting plans all centred around our tech. Metapack will play a role in shipping around 600 million parcels in 2018 and with the wider stamps.com family the number rises to 2.5bn parcels. Business Systems is part of our Customer Success Organisation which additionally comprises of Professional Services, Account Management and Carrier Management.
Our team implements, administers, supports and continuously improves a best of breed suite of systems which support our Business.
The Commercially focused Business-Critical Systems which fall under our responsibility include;
  • Salesforce (Customer Relationship Management/ Quoting and Sales management)
  • Salesforce Service Cloud (Support Solution)
  • Financial Force (Professional Services Automation and Billing)
  • MS Dynamics 365 including a Customer Portal
These systems are used daily by the following teams;
  • Support
  • Professional Services
  • Sales
  • Account Management
  • Marketing
  • Product
  • Technology
  • Finance
What would I be doing?
  • You would be joining at an exciting time as we are implementing SalesForce, FinancialForce and Tray.IO across the organisation and you would play a big part of completing this implementation and the subsequent evolution of the product set.
  • You will be joining a strong technical team with an experienced developer, administrator and product manager
  • Where systems require implementation, you will work as part of a team to design, configure, test, document, train, deploy and support those systems.
  • You will be part of a product team implementing SalesForce, FinancialForce and Tray.IO
  • Where systems are embedded you will provide in-house specialist skills centred around configuration and user support (internal and to external clients) of SalesForce and FinancialForce.
  • You will provide leadership and guidance on SalesForce and FinancialForce best practice.
  • You will proactively work with the Product Manager to identify opportunities to use new features and functions and to improve system adoption, compliance of use and hygiene of data.
Who are you?
  • You will have:
    • A passion for technology and software products.
    • A passion for helping customers (internal/external)
    • Extensive experience of Implementing SalesForce Products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities)
    • Extensive experience of implementing FinancialForce products (Billing central)
    • Extensive experience of administering SalesForce/FinancialForce
    • Experience of supporting software solutions
    • Experience of producing detailed technical and operational documentation
    • Experience in producing training material and conducting both group and one-to-one training
What key skills and experience do I need?
  • Proficiency in English to a Business and Professional Level
  • Experience working in an AGILE framework
  • Strong proficiency for gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Ability to challenge and shape internal customer requirements, and understand the underlying reasons and expected benefits
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into a solution, or a variety of solution proposals
  • Ability to communicate complex aspects of solutions to audiences who may not have deep technical knowledge
  • Ability to produce technical, operational and training documentation
  • Ability to easily adapt to change and effectively manage priorities
It would be great if you also could bring
  • Experience of one or more of the following in relation to Dynamics 365 is advantageous:
    • Using
    • Implementing
    • Configuring
    • Developing
    • Administering
    • Supporting
  • Experience with APEX code (or JAVA)
  • SCRUM Certified or similar
  • Experience using JIRA for work stream management and support desk.
  • Experience within the retail, supply chain or e-commerce industry
