We are looking for a Salesforce Architect to join our team and help us design, develop, and maintain our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce and B2B sales processes. They will also be able to work effectively with internal IT and other business stakeholders to ensure that our Salesforce system meets our needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as business owner and technical owner of the Salesforce system
    • Configure and customize the Salesforce platform to the specs of a company’s needs.
    • Work with internal IT to maintain a functional system.
    • Actively drive the standardization, harmonization, and scalability of commercial workflows in the system.
    • Support Sales leadership and Revenue Operations team to design standardized commercial processes (CPQ, contract creation, renewal alerts & reviews etc.).
    • Identify system requirements, and collect, manage, and prioritize requirements from Sales, Revenue Operations, and other business departments.
    • Work with internal IT and/or external consultants to implement and maintain standardized commercial processes in Salesforce.
    • Lead User Acceptance Testing for all Salesforce-related topics.
    • Prepare comprehensive business process documentation and technical documentation.
  • Oversee collaboration with external consultants including task definition, progress tracking and tracking of expenses.
  • Drive Salesforce integration with other systems (e.g., HubSpot, AWS Marketplace).
  • Design and implement meaningful reports and dashboards and perform ad-hoc analyses to support Sales leadership and Revenue Operations team.
  • Train and educate other staff on best practices and proper data entry in Salesforce.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce administration.
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce development, ideally in a Salesforce Architect role.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Lightning Platform, integrations, security and compliance, DevOps, training, and documentation.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Architect, a plus.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales processes.
  • Experience within the AWS Marketplace, a plus.
  • You work effectively and collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
  • You anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems. You go above and beyond to meet the needs of the customers or clients.
  • You can understand and work with complex numerical data and communicate this data effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You organize work and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
  • You can identify and solving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to Germany in regular intervals for business meetings, training, or other purposes.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required. German (A2 or higher) is a plus.
