Job Description
The Salesforce Business Analyst role will support the WNET Finance team, leading requirements sessions, defining security roles, enhancing the reliability, security, and ease-of-use around gift processing and reporting for finance. Please note that this is a fixed term/temporary role.
Key responsibilities include documenting issues with security to adhere to compliance standards within Finance as well as planning the remediation of these issues. Using our strategic roadmap, the Business Analyst will begin by focusing on Salesforce users Security Roles, gathering, analyzing and understanding the application capabilities and enhancement needed. Additional responsibilities include:
• Analyze incoming requests, gather requirements, create specification documentation and implement systems solutions;
• Provide on-time application support and trouble shoot incoming issues, understand the operations to determine root cause of the issue and participate in the development of high quality solution;
• Collaborate with vendors for application issues;
• Track and trend issues for effective resolution and identify systemic causes;
• Create and manage ad hoc and scheduled reports with an eye toward generating actionable insights.
Qualified candidates will have strong knowledge of and previous experience with Salesforce NPSP in a nonprofit/gift processing environment. Additional qualifications include:
• Experience with business process definition, process mapping and reengineering;
• Exceptional ability to interpret/analyze business needs and translate to technical requirements;
• Extensive knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts;
• Proven experience designing or building Salesforce integrations;
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
