Salesforce QA Tester (Public Trust)

Silotech Group is seeking a dedicated Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester to join our remote team. This role requires a Public Trust clearance and involves overseeing the QA life cycle, including the creation of test plans, scenarios, cases/scripts, and managing the defect lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in QA testing, with a strong background in Salesforce platforms, including customizations, workflows, and validation rules. Responsibilities include testing features and enhancements, collaborating with developers and project teams, logging bugs, and providing project updates. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related field is preferred, and a Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus. Experience with Jira and working in an Agile environment is also beneficial. Attention to detail and strong technical documentation skills are essential.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for the QA life cycle to include creation of test plans, test scenarios, test cases/scripts and defect lifecycle management.
• Responsible for testing features and enhancements on all Salesforce platforms along with associated integrations.
• Works with developers and project teams to construct & execute test plans, plan for functional, performance & regression testing, logging bugs, and providing visibility through project updates.
• Apply testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
• Understand user story requirements to help design, implement, and execute test plans.
• Responsible for tracking and logging defects during execution.
• Create test cases with the intended functionality of a system from an end-user perspective.
• Analyze documentation and technical specifications of existing applications.
• Work with developers, business analyst and product owners to understand integration points which may affect systems that are tested.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related field is desired.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance testing role, software tester, functional tester or automation testing conducting manual testing of applications.
• Experience working with reports, page layouts, customizations, standard and custom objects and tabs.
• Knowledge of workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
• Must possess knowledge of Salesforce Software QA methodologies, tools, procedures, and testing techniques.
• Must have experience working in a test-driven QA development environment.
• Must have experience with Salesforce.com/Salesforce Testing/Salesforce platform.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com capabilities and best practices.
• Experience testing in the Salesforce Platform/
• Working with developers to create test scripts related to user stories.
• Run test scripts to ensure completeness of code.
• Technical documentation.
• Experience working with Jira is a plus.
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
• Attention to detail.

Certifications:

• Any relevant Salesforce Certifications.
