Overview:This individual will be responsible for gathering Salesforce functional requirements and defining and configuring Marketing and Sales Cloud. This hands-on role works closely with internal customers, process owners, development teams, support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end solutions are delivered with quality and expectations are met for functionality, reliability, and availability. The Analyst will participate in development and will help drive the adherence of relevant standards, guidelines, and procedures through identifying best practices and facilitating their use.Responsibilities:
- Assists in the overall design of marketing automations as well as recommending best practice solutions based on marketing department needs and latest proven business & technology trends
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot applications, including system management, administration and data management tools
- Supports building of targeted audience segments based on email behavioral data and CRM attributes using Data Extensions
- Works with solution architect peers in IT to design and implement integrations to Sales / Service Clouds and other third party applications
- Supports projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
- Documents, refines and prioritizes business requirements and user stories
- Creates to-be process flow diagrams, impact analysis and decision decks
- Maps requirements to functionality within Salesforce and adjacency ecosystem
- Develops and maintains end user training documentation and delivers training as required
- Coordinates with Platform leads to complete impact assessments and cross-functional alignment
- Collaborates with development teams to validate that solutions will meet business requirements
- Creates test cases and test scripts in support of test plan
- Coordinates user acceptance testing, reporting and defect prioritization with business leads
- Performs Change Management functions including documentation and administration of assigned release activity
- Provides system administration, data management, development, and technical support to Salesforce end users in accordance with IT SLAs
- Performs knowledge transfer and training with team members and business wherever appropriate
- Adheres and contributes to internal processes, procedures and policies, as well as expanding internal knowledge on Salesforce functionality used by the company
- Maintains awareness of new features and functionality delivered in Salesforce releases and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity
- Other duties as assignedQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of business analyst or salesforce administration experience
- 2-3 years of experience working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing and Sales Clouds
- Demonstrated experience supporting Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, including requirements gathering, testing and release of Salesforce solutions.
- Ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis and technical requirements definition
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Admirable time management and work prioritization skills
- Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope.
