EdPlus at ASU is currently seeking a motivated and articulate Salesforce Administrator to join our high-performing team. The Salesforce Administrator participates in the design, configuration, enhancement and maintenance for university applications. Must be able to interface directly with customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. Assesses design and objectives for the assigned project phases and recommends strategies and tactics to achieve business needs.

Essential Duties
- Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects
- Conduct Solution reviews with functional teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets customers' business requirements
- Work on all phases of a project: requirements capture, development, testing, production support, etc.
- Be able to estimate scope for development efforts
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding status
- Participate in business and technical meetings
- Provide timely status updates to project leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
- Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices
- Assume or coordinate other duties as assigned or directed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field AND two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Evidence of a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- Experience in Salesforce administration
- Experience in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities
- Evidence of technical background, with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in delivering the full software development life cycle with the Force.com platform
- Evidence of being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects
- Evidence of troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems quickly
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
- Experience in communicating technical concepts to other technical staff members as well as non-technical members of the organization
- Experience in strategic thinking
- Experience with Salesforce security model, including the Role Hierarchy and Sharing Settings
- Experience with telephony integrations for Salesforce
- Experience with marketing automation tools for Salesforce
- Experience with Agile Project Management is a plus
- Evidence of Salesforce.com Certification
Working Environment
EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.
