Salesforce Release Manager
In this role you will be managing the delivery of “End to End” Technical Release Management services within the TELUS Health – Provider Solutions BOSE Team (Business Operations & Strategy Enablement) for nationally used Salesforce Platform, including deployment process, environment management, vendor management and continuous improvement of the service delivered.
Your responsibilities
- Managing internal team members and vendor delivering technical release management activities for Salesforce Platform, including KPI and SLA monitoring and escalating to management team if required
- Owning deployment process and policy for commonly used environments (SIT, UAT, Production) for Salesforce Platform covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud for supporting multiple projects execution
- Owning source code repository including branching strategy, merge process and policy, access management policy
- Collaborating with Project Managers and Solution Architect for planning environment (sandbox) utilization by Projects (several projects executed in parallel)
- Data-loading/seeding of sandbox environments to provide functional environments for development and testing
- Managing available Sandboxes (100+ sandboxes including 2 full copy sandboxes)
- Working closely with development team members in identifying and addressing risks and conflicts between projects
- Collaborating with project managers and solution architect to support technical release management activities for projects
- Driving continuous improvements in the area of technical release management activities covering both process and tools improvements for ensuring we are using best practices, automation and most suitable tools (e.g. Salesforce DX)
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

- Experienced and talented professional with a degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in IT with 5+ years of experience in Salesforce deployment process, source code management in large and complex Salesforce environment with several projects executed in parallel by multiple teams
- Experience with implementation of CI/CD for Salesforce Platform including code scan and test automation activities
- Experience with Copado and Salesforce DX
- Deep understanding of the DevOps concept in the Salesforce context, not limited to technical deployment process but actual combined Development and Operations processes
- Salesforce certification, at least ADM/ADX-201
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server management
- Motivated self-starter with ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
