Job Description

 Our engineers don't just churn out lines of code in the dark. They’re problem-solvers and thinkers, coming up with creative solutions to complex problems. We aren’t too concerned about what languages you’ve used in the past – if you have experience in an object-orientated language, you understand Agile development, and have an appetite to join a team of engineers that really care about what they do, we’d love to have a chat.

You will be working in the API and integration team, building solutions using the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

Be an active and enthusiastic team player. Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments.
Contribute to quality activities, incl. peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Participate in all phases of SCRUM ceremonies
Maintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable.
Ensure all tasks are completed to the required quality standards.
Provide 3rd tier support and/or expertise for the area of responsibility

Collaborate to help us make decisions to “build it right”.

Skills, know-how and experience
Must have:
Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of software development.
Knowledge of API design, RESTful services and alternatives.
Passion for developing software that satisfies the customers’ needs
Ability to interpret and document user requirements and translate these into technical specifications and/or code
High numerical reasoning and logic ability with good problem-solving skills
Knowledge of one or more relevant programming languages (e.g. Apex, Java, C#)
Be willing to adapt to significant changes in either technology or environment
Proven experience of designing and delivering solutions exceeding customer requirements
Willingness to learn and share knowledge within the team and across the department
Preferred:
Innovative and creative thinking
Proven experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
