Job Summary:The Salesforce Architect leads eCommerce application deployment. They have a deep understanding of eCommerce technology landscape and understand the technical ecosystem to support business objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the software releases working with the eCommerce team and all external partners (SPRINT releases, hot-fixes, deployments to different environments, tracks bugs/defects, debugs)
- Own the code versioning process across all environments (sandboxes, development, staging and production)
- Own the code deployment process
- Establish and maintain the release schedule
- Design (based on business requirements), develop, validate and deploy new business capabilities/solutions
- Develop and maintain the build environment, the source code control systems and the issue tracking systems
- Build or utilize existing scripts
- Architect eCommerce release management by:
- Facilitating beta and integration testing
- Testing system functionality
- Ensuring code meets prelaunch quality standards
- Obtaining appropriate management and stakeholder approval to release code, including, change management requests
- Owning all documentation requirements as identified by GNC and any other authoritative source/need
- Support eCommerce solution deployment and validation by:
- Leading system validation and testing
- Supporting solution integration and user acceptance testing
- Providing post implementation support to business
- Developing complex system testing criteria
- Deploying based on current SOX, PCI and other deployment standards
- Drive standards by recommending functional development standards, software selection standards and integration standards
- Drive and adopt new technologies
- Provide leadership to move current projects adoption of new technologies
- Support solution by:
- Understanding business processes and current strategies
- Staying current on related system solutions and technologies
- Leading resolution of cross functional and complex application related issues
- Validating that the current system documentation is accurate and complete
- Additional duties as assignedJob Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
- 5+ years of previous experience Salesforce required
- Experience with eCommerce systems and technology/package implementation in multiple functional areas
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting issues the application interfaces
- PMP, Salesforce, ITIL certified preferred
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
