Position Summary
The Senior Salesforce Administrator will work with the Director of IT and Chief Technology Adoption Officer to champion the implementation and ongoing development of Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud throughout the global organization. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be a key stakeholder and leader on the deployment team, working hand-in-hand with the integrator to deploy a robust Sales and Service Cloud experience globally that meets our varied business requirements. As the Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will work closely with Sales, Services and Product leadership to optimize utilization of the Salesforce platform. You will also be responsible for working closely with analysts, developers and regional administrators to ensure the proper operation of 3rd party integrations and data integrity while enabling regional control over specific Salesforce functions. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated and passionate with the ability to contribute to the long-term vision.
- Function as a key stakeholder on the deployment team, working with the integrator to deploy a robust Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud solution globally that meets varied business requirements;
- Work with Sales and Services leadership to ensure the development sprints are delivering the required business functionality;
- Work with leadership to develop and implement a strategy to manage the 3rd party integrations as they are deployed and maintain data integrity;
- Assist the team in the extraction, transformation, mapping and loading of data from systems into Salesforce;
- Develop and implement a multi-org global reporting strategy (e.g. Tableau, etc.).
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud changes and enhancements;
- Independently review requests and troubleshoot issues, define root causes, and implement proactive solutions;
- Create, maintain and troubleshoot complex business processes using components such as: process builders, flows, workflow rules, approval processes, etc.;
- Work with developers to create reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity;
- Work with developers to implement and support integrations and 3rd party applications and solutions;
- Define regional administrative access and train regional administrators;
- Work on maintaining data quality through ongoing data analysis, record maintenance, and other related tasks, and identify and implement process improvements that contribute to improved data quality;
- Perform system maintenance duties, to include ensuring the application is kept current with vendor releases, patches, and other requirements;
- Support new user setup and training; create user documentation and provide training for releases;
- Other duties as assigned.
Strategic
- Work with business stakeholders to understand current and future business priorities, strategic road-maps and reporting needs;
- Make recommendations to improve efficiencies through development and adoption of best practices and standardized procedures;
- Evaluate new technology and tools that improve company processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or equivalent experience in field;
- 5 - 10 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator, including managing multi-org deployments;
- Salesforce developer experience preferred;
- Sales and Service Cloud certifications preferred;
- Experience working with Agile, lean, or similar development methodologies is a plus;
- Experience with Salesforce App Exchange apps like Cloud Coach, Ownbackup, Cadalys, Mulesoft, Tableau and others;
- In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud;
- A friendly, positive, and energetic attitude with strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization both written and orally;
- Ability to analyze and explain data, adapt to daily challenges, and execute strategies to improve performance;
- Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency;
- Strong problem solving, analytic and organizational skills;
- Strong knowledge of project management principles;
- Must be fully vaccinated by date of hire.
