About the job
Responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of our Salesforce.com platform and adjacent applications that support our Field Sales Force. This person translates business requirements to technical specifications for development and coordinates all project management with our 3rd party developers. They define, prioritize and communicate our Salesforce roadmap to Sales Team and broader TPB organization to meet the needs of our Sales Team and ensure the flow of relevant Salesforce data across organization. They are the technical point-of-contact for our Sales Department managing our sales database, system generated reporting and application architecture. Successful candidate will have frequent interaction with our Business Intelligence team. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Functions
- Oversee day to day operation, performance, dataflow and maintenance of our Salesforce.com platform
- Provide training and support to Salesforce users across enterprise
- Manage our 3rd party dedicated Sales Support CRM admin
- Manage system and reporting development/enhancements within our Salesforce.com platform and associated applications utilized by Sales Organization.
- Compile, integrate and analyze data across multiple database sources driving CRM, requiring data blending and utilizing ETL tools
- Responsible for managing integrated data sets that power Salesforce, maintain the integrity of our CRM data, and data modeling flow withing CRM.
- Ability to anticipate and proactively address technical and organizational obstacle within domain platform
- Identify opportunities to develop new and better solutions that maximize effectiveness of Sales Organization in alignment with company goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years Salesforce management experience in a technical support function role
- Strong data management skillset with understanding of data modeling
- Highly developed Project Management and Communication skill set
- Ability to understand and anticipate business needs and influence change to drive actionable and tangible results;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify / convey causes and develop optimal solutions;
- Must have creative vision
- Ability to work within and manage to a set approved budget; develop and implement cost saving measures based on data driven decisions
- Strong track record of learning new tools, technologies and framework;
- Advanced to expert level Excel skills; proficiency with full MS Office suite; experience with ETL Tools; SQL a plus
- Knowledgeable and/or open to training to act in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience working in Consumer packaged goods industry
- Bachelor's Degree.
