Responsibilities
We are seeking a Salesforce Architect to join our Salesforce team at ADS, supporting approximately 900 business users across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering Service, Finance, and Customer Operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design technical solutions that are scalable and secure. The Salesforce Architect will need to stay on top of the ever changing and evolving Salesforce ecosystem. The position requires experience working in Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, eCommerce Cloud and Salesforce CPQ. APEX and Mulesoft development is not required but is a plus.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize Salesforce projects
- Design custom Salesforce solutions to meet business needs
- Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing to aid stakeholder decision making
- Manage and optimize Salesforce integrations and process maps with other applications
- Provide guidance and support to the Salesforce development team
- Mentor junior administrators and business analysts
- Partner with stakeholders to align product roadmap to business capabilities.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce technologies and trends
- Fully understand the sales operations/processes underlying the Salesforce implementation
- Act as release manager and drive standards/best practices in solution delivery
- Support project activities related to Salesforce customizations and/or developments
- Develop and maintain best practices and governance policies for secure and scalable solutions
- Collaborate on prototype design and delivery to aid in requirements gathering
- Review solutions and recommend improvements
Job Skills:
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
- Mastery of sales operations, order management, and customer service business processes
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) on operations/processes/configuration of Salesforce
- Familiarity with Apex development and best practice
- Ability to take high level requirements and quickly generate Proof of Concepts (POCs) that admins and developers can further refine
- Mastery of Flows or other workflow automation within Salesforce
- Learning mindset, willingness to continue learning and growing skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce trends
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree with preferred major in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Sales, or related
- Salesforce Designer and/or Architecture certifications a plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
Preferred Experience:
- 7+ years’ experience leading and delivering solutions in Sales, Marketing, or Service Clouds
- Demonstratable knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and roadmap
