Overview:

As the Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for building and delivering business solutions within Salesforce to support our Sales, Client Success, Global Operations, Marketing, and other departments. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing our enterprise Salesforce application to meet the needs of Tech Data and our customers using standard configuration leveraging industry best practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional, global teams and partner with internal and external customers to explore business needs, offer and evaluate solutions, and implement the application functionality needed to meet business goals. You will assist various teams in drawing the most value from the Salesforce environment through the creation of processes, APIs, and other business tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

  • Manage all declarative & basic declarative administrative functions assigned (5%)
  • Build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate to advanced complexity including visual flow, process builder, workflow automation, Apex, third party integrations, telephony integration, import/export databases, etc. (5%)
  • Technical expert on assigned Salesforce projects leading the capture of business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing (5%)
  • Partner with business stakeholders to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customization that solve business needs (5%)
  • Expand use of Salesforce.com – attend planning meetings and assist with determining if / how SFDC can be used in new ways to generate new value for the organization (5%)
  • Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels as well as creating/maintaining user roles, profiles and hierarchies (5%)
  • Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management (5%)
  • Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with SFDC (5%)
  • Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities (5%)
  • Create custom objects when necessary and ongoing customization/alteration of SFDC (5%)
  • Complete regular internal system audits, prepare for upgrades, manage new releases (5%)
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams (5%)
  • Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment (40%)

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator & Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Required. Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud and/or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Preferred. Experience working in Agile Methodology.
Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
  • May be located at the Clearwater corporate office or at the reseller location.
  • Professional, office environment.
  • Some travel required.
