Job Purpose


Due to the continued growth of the business, we are currently looking for a driven and energetic CRM Business System Analyst to help the CRM team to implement SalesForce as the new CRM tool. You’ll work alongside experienced Salesforce architects on this exciting new implementation.


The role will involve the implementation and day-to-day maintenance of Salesforce to support the commercial teams. You will be responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational and technological risks. The role includes managing users, maintaining data quality, responding to questions from and coaching end-users, reporting and housekeeping within the system.

You will also undertake ongoing business analysis across our business functions to identify opportunities and solutions for process improvement and automation. This will include the hands-on configuration of Salesforce, whilst ensuring that quality and service levels are high. Therefore, hands-on Salesforce experience is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conducting analysis, design and documentation of functional solutions to enable business processes and Salesforce to be developed
  • Solicit, understand, and document the customer's business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows
  • Ensuring that business and functional solutions are fully defined, meet the needs of the business case and customer requirements and are approved by the customer and key stakeholders
  • Responsible for the management/coordination of projects designed to develop technical solutions and/or enhancements related to the automation of business processes to meet user requirements
  • Performing functional / integration testing on projects as required, to ensure quality of delivery
  • Resolving complex issues, defects and queries raised at any phase of development or production in a timely and professional manner
  • Track system defects and enhancements to support the system configuration
  • Prepare training materials and deliver training where necessary
  • Support of Salesforce including configuration updates to security, sharing rules, profiles, roles, custom objects, fields, record types, updating page layouts and validation rules, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Providing demo’s to all level of stakeholders
  • Work with Solution and Technical Architect’s to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
  • Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with the CRM product manager
  • Own the design of Salesforce solutions
  • Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing and deployment of Salesforce around best practice, while sharing experiences
  • Act as the release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments.
  • Provide guidance on user story writing style
  • Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story
  • Ensure documentation of the steps for testing as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
  • Documenting baseline information and requirements
  • Developing and defining project roadmaps

Experience/Skills


  • Proven experience with Salesforce systems support and an excellent understanding of CRM
  • Experience of being in an Agile Scrum/Kanban team
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Ability to identify process efficiencies i.e. data flow across Sales systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of a B2B sales process, campaign management and tracking objectives
  • Experience of documenting system integrations
  • Knowledge and experience of CPQ

Education/Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable
  • Business Analysis certification is highly desirable, ideally BCS qualifications.
  • Essential Salesforce certifications: Advance Administrator
  • Ideal Salesforce certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist
