Job Title: Data Architect (AI Engineer/Architect)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Only W2)

Top Skills:

• 8 years of AI/ML development experience;
• Knowledge and implementation experience of AI/ML in AWS Cloud services;
• Data science and advanced analytics, including knowledge of advanced analytics tools (such as SAS, R and Python);
• DevOps workflows and tools, such as Git, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Must have excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, team player, self-starter who will take initiative, able to work in a matrix environment across business lines.

The Opportunity:

• The AI Architect will work with senior architects and delivery partners. You will ensure that all relevant project teams follow a common set of principles and patterns that utilize a standard set of technology frameworks and libraries while applying architecture standard methodologies that help increase execution velocity.
• This associate will be responsible to research and conduct POCs to ensure solutions are built in alignment with platform principles and standards and drive the architecture for key cross team/cross product development projects (via architecture/design documents and developing code key modules).

The Work Itself:

• Collaborate with data scientists and other AI professionals
• Define the feasibility of use cases along with architectural design for the AI platform
• Select cloud, on-premises or hybrid deployment models, and ensure new tools are well-integrated with existing data management and analytics tools.
• Work with Business and delivery partners to understand future requirements and implications for architecture
• Identify architecture solution alternatives, driving business requirements, and availability of new technologies
• Identify new technologies and tools to support architecture(s) and determine architectural roadmaps
• Work closely with security and risk leaders to foresee and overturn risks
• Review solutions and projects to ensure they are consistent with standard methodologies in data and analytics

Primary Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Computer Science, AI/ML).
• 5 to 8 years of AI/ML development experience
• Data science and advanced analytics, including knowledge of advanced analytics tools (such as SAS, R and Python).
• DevOps workflows and tools, such as Git, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• AI Architecture - data management, governance, model building and deployment
• Knowledge and implementation experience of AI/ML in AWS Cloud services

Nice to have:

• API’s, Apigee, Developer Portals. Expertise in JSON, RESTful services, and similar related tech
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, Nexus, Software defined networking.
