The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for optimizing all Salesforce related duties including, trainings, reporting, and system maintenance for IAFC. The role works within Operations to support the organization through leveraging Salesforce within our Programs, Training, Marketing, and Development departments. This role will report directly to the Director of IT and report out on systems status’ and provide feedback on continuous improvement.

This incumbent will be expected to promote and adhere to the workplace core capabilities of accountability, customer focus, continuous quality improvement (CQI), communication, competent people, and clear priorities. All work to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with organizational standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. The organization reserves the right to add to, delete, change, or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time.

  • Support agency end users and monitor user adoption of Salesforce tools and extensions.
  • Ensure that all certifications, licenses, and other user data is up to date and functioning properly.
  • Support department heads with program development and usage matching agency needs.
  • Maintain and ensure that system is updated for optimal performance, including with third party vendor systems.
  • Research and identify requirements, translating into best practices, scalable solutions with a focus on user experience.
  • Oversee data management focusing on constant quality improvement of Salesforce data and quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
  • Create and provide ongoing training, providing feedback to senior management on user opportunities.
  • Resolve support helpdesk tickets.
  • Manage communications regarding any platform changes to users and stakeholders.
  • Execute our workplace core capabilities of: accountability, customer focus, continuous quality improvement (CQI), communication, competent people and clear priorities.
  • Independently work on multiple tasks effectively in support of the department
  • Other Functions: The organization may assign other functions to the job at its discretion.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing a major segment of the organization. Formal responsibility for planning, assigning, directing, and managing the work of the department.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Salesforce Administrator certification. Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud certification. Experience migrating data from various systems to Salesforce. Undergraduate degree in a related field required. Two to three years of experience in Salesforce Administration experience. Non-profit and early childhood development experience preferred.
