Job Description:

Position Overview
The Salesforce Program Manager will be responsible for leading programs and cross functional teams for our clients. This person will be tasked with developing programs to support their organization's strategic direction, as well as partnering to develop and manage long term goals. This person will also be in charge of managing budgets and operating plans and helping with program funding proposals. The program manager will have a sharp business mind and a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, they are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

  • Monitor program execution and manage project interdependencies

  • Identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, then facilitate quick resolution

  • Provide status reporting on project key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery

  • Regular stakeholder communications, negotiations and problem-solving

  • Maintain prompt, proactive, and transparent communication with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive program delivery

  • Use effective decision making to control risk and minimize uncertainty while being proactive through strategic thinking to strive to find new and innovative ways to deliver successful results

  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance

  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached

  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

  • Agility to align or realign program deliverables to achieve desired outcomes

  • Working in an ambiguous, fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends


Experience & Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, project leadership and/or driving product delivery

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with Agile teams on technology projects, specifically within Salesforce

  • Extensive project and program management skills leveraging Agile principles including developing and managing schedules, scope, budgets, resource plans, issues, risks, communications and quality/testing plans

  • Experience managing and forecasting budgets

  • Consistent track record of success driving complex programs from inception to delivery

  • Outstanding problem solver who builds consensus and drives key decisions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to C-Level management

  • Track record of working well with others by partnering, leading and influencing cross functional teams

  • Enthusiastic, full of positive energy and persistent to targets

  • Ability to provide attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong customer acumen and interaction skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce, highly preferred

  • Certification in Agile, Project Management, or Business Process Management, highly preferred (or willingness to achieve identified certification within first 12 months of employment)
