This is an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Developer to join a driven and high performing team which builds the sales pipeline management framework for Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets business.
You will work alongside a global team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts within a collaborative and supportive agile delivery team. The team is collectively responsible for the full Salesforce engineering lifecycle from solution design, implementation, and testing, through to deployment and support, ensuring the successful delivery of optimal solutions to meet needs of our business users.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- configuration and customisation of the Salesforce platform
- implementation and modification of custom Apex code, Lightning Web/Aura Components, VisualForce templates, and declarative automation (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow)
- participation in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
- applying Salesforce best practices to the design and implementation of solutions
- proactively engaging continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and development process
- providing technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2+ years’ development experience with the Salesforce platform
- Salesforce Developer Certification
- experience with the following tools: Visual Studio Code, SFDX CLI, Git, Bamboo, Confluence, Jira, Salesforce Dataloader
- experience with Salesforce CI/CD techniques and source-driven development
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- experience with agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
- a desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
- prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools a plus.
