The Division exists to provide leadership and supervision to all 64 County Departments of Human Services in the administration of their adult protective services programs and to 16 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in the administration of their programs funded through the Older Americans Act (OAA) and State Funding for Senior Services (SFSS).The Division consists of three management units that report to the Division Director. These units are: 1. State Unit on Aging2. Adult Protective Services3. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Office of Adult, Aging and Disability Services, Aging & Adult Services welcomes your interest in the Salesforce Administrator position. The purpose of this position is to serve as the subject matter expert for the support and maintenance of the Division’s data system for monitoring activities of the Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) for the State Unit on Aging (SUA). This data system is the primary mode by which all federal Older Americans Act (OAA) and State Funding for Senior Services (SFSS) programs in the State of Colorado are tracked and reimbursed. Over $60 million in services a year to older Coloradans are entered into this data system, making this position critical to these services. This position has the primary responsibility for the maintenance and support of all data system issues, fixes, support and monitoring. Responsibilities in this position include: System security, which includes security reviews, maintenance, and security event responseSystem configuration and coding, which includes management of custom code, management of system configuration, and the design and building of new functionality and upgradesMaintenance and support of system interfaces, including upgrades and new builds, when necessaryAssist with overall planning with respect to data system development and maintenance, including acting as liaison between the SUA team, the contract vendor and the software vendorComplete daily work projects to ensure that the SUA unit provides timely, accurate, and adequate support, technical assistance, and training on the system to the more than 350 users around the State of Colorado.Complete daily work tasks and projects necessary to the successful operation of the systemIdentify and develop system modificationsLead all aspects of design and maintenance related to system security, custom code, and system interfacesEnsure help desk tickets and daily maintenance is managedIdentify region by region and statewide training needs based upon system usageProvide technical assistance and consultation to county staffParticipate on external task forces, committees or work groups to provide input, guidance, and clarification on functionality as they relate to policy and legislative changes that may require a modification of the system or security infrastructure
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, or other related field of study.
