Salesforce Release Manager

Piper Companies is looking for Salesforce Release Manager for a client in the financial services / Banking industry. 100% Remote Opportunity

Responsibilities Salesforce Release Manager:

• 
  Manage change control process for development & release readiness criteria & ensure all changes meet criteria prior to deployment
• Work with SFDC Development Team(s) to maintain allowed Test coverage in SFDC & resolve all the deployment errors
• Define & manage release readiness & success criteria based on business requirements including proactively identify & mitigate risks & remove obstacles to release
• Monitor all lower environments - (Salesforce Sandboxes) - for release process / creating & synchronizing sandbox metadata & appropriate data sets
• Act as single point of contact for all the teams in terms of schedule / deployment / process to be followed
• Communicate release details / expectations / schedules to the business as required
• Provide regular release reporting to stakeholders & project team.
• Continually work towards making improvements in the release process by documenting release issues & developing plans to improve process or automation
• Track application dependencies that affect the release schedule
• Execute periodic backup / refresh / maintenance of Sandboxes / repositories
• Own release management tool including support & training
• Manage all environment maintenance activities & lead product upgrades related to all applications on the SFDC platform

Qualifications Salesforce Release Manager:

• 
  3+ yrs. exp. in a SFDC development environment
• Expertise release management tools & concepts – (Copado preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in - Information Systems / Management Information Systems / or related technology discipline
• Exp. with 2 different Salesforce Cloud platforms - (ex. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud) or Installed Applications.
• Knowledge of source control systems - (Github / Gitlab) - release branching strategies, continuous integration pipelines for moving code across environments
• Integration & BI Tools – MuleSoft / Tableau / Salesforce Einstein Analytics
• Salesforce sandboxes & back up tools - (OwnBackup preferred)
• Exp. managing technology projects by working with a cross functional team of SFDC professionals across the board
• Understanding of Agile principals.
• Proven ability to communicate with internal & external customers regarding complex policies, procedures or programs
• Strong skills using Windows & Microsoft software products
• 10/10 Communication skills

Compensation for the Full Stack .NET Developer:

• Compensation – $120k - $130k – (potential for $140k depending on exp.)
