NeoGenomics is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This role is a remote, Monday - Friday day shift.

Position Summary:

The CRM team within the technology organization is responsible for leading and managing NeoGenomics’s Salesforce.com environment and support. The team operates with a service mentality and its members must have a customer-first approach.

The Salesforce Developer works as part of the CRM technology team dedicated to supporting the Salesforce platform and its users, as well as designing, enhancing, programming, and implementing Salesforce.com development solutions. This role will require working directly with stakeholders, architects, and partners to understand the business needs.

Core Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure Salesforce systems.
• Integration and data management.
• Technical design and implementation.
• Testing and documentation.
• User support and training.
• Develop apex, flows, and visualforce.
• Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Knowledge and experience differentiating visualforce, aura components, and LWC as well as best-practices to choose the correct solution between them.
• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as informatica, mulesoft, docusign, marketing cloud, and financial force.
• Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.
• Travel: 10%

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a salesforce developer
• Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Proven experience with salesforce development and implementing apex, LWC, visualforce, and Java.
• Strong understanding of salesforce best practices and functionality.
• General web development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Strong background in programmatic salesforce development.
• Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
• Proficient in sales and service cloud.
• Preferred Salesforce certifications:
  • Administrator.
  • Advanced administrator.
  • Platform app builder.
  • Platform developer 1.
  • Platform developer 2.
