As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll help design, develop, configure, maintain, and support complex applications that expand the use of Salesforce as a custom development platform, a sales automation tool, a CRM application, and the backbone of many other business processes. You’ll work as part of a team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs. You’ll make a critical impact through your involvement with a custom-built Digital Experience that supports 50,000+ users within Jacobs, as well as a SalesCloud application.
You’ll thoroughly understand the business use cases and work with the Sales team to build customized and out-of-the-box solutions with robust documentation. You’ll have responsibility for participating in all aspects of Salesforce configuration and customization including functional and technical documentation, testing, implementation of applications, and 3rd party integrations. As the Salesforce Developer, you’ll demonstrate high business and technical acumen while also understanding Salesforce product capabilities/configurations.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Build new Salesforce solutions leveraging standard configuration and/or custom code
- Manage the application Digital Experience (aka Salesforce “Community”)
- Design and implementation of new Salesforce objects, automated processes, custom layouts and other standard Salesforce configuration
- Design, coding and implementation of APEX code Triggers, Classes, Lightning pages and components
- SFDC administration: Creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Validation rules, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Actions
- Ability to execute and deliver clean system configuration and development
- Build and execute data loads, set up and manage security and user permissions
- Interact with appropriate individuals and customers on Salesforce integrations
- Develop reporting and dashboard functions as well as business intelligence analytics
- Assist by making change recommendations, technology research, and assessments to identify Salesforce solutions for best strategic, functional, and technical fit
- Escalate process change requests, system enhancements or any other related requests through relevant mechanisms for approval / prioritization
- Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools
- Responsible for working with onshore teams and technical leads to understand business requirements and design specifications and develop code in accordance with design specifications.

Here’s What You’ll Need:- Thorough experience with Salesforce development, including:
- Experience in design, coding and implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, Lightning pages and components.
- Experience in design and implementation of new Sales force objects, workflow rules, custom layouts and other standard Sales force customization.
- Functional knowledge and great customer support for the Salesforce platform
- Demonstrated experience in SFDC administration: Creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Validation rules, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Actions
- Knowledge in Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Lightning, and Apex coding
- Apex Custom Controllers, Apex Triggers, Lightning components, Test Classes, SOQL, SOSL, SQL, AJAX, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Well versed in CRM practices and technology platforms and key integration points
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines.
- Experience with Agile DevOps processes
- Experience with rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
- Experience in full development life-cycle from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Salesforce Certification
- Demonstrated experience with custom community/digital experience user experience and Lightning Web Component creation and maintenance
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Informatica experience
- Einstein Dataflow/Dataset/Dashboard development
- Certification(s): Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and/or II, Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Consultant, Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant, Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Certified Platform App Builder
