United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) is looking for ambitious junior developers interested in growing their career in a fast-paced fun environment. We are launching our software development training program known as our Salesforce Developer Experience (SF Dev-X) Program that will teach you how to hone the skills you learned so far to enable you to write high-quality code on the Salesforce platform at UWM. You will have the opportunity to be taught by some of the best developers in the area from the #1 mortgage lender in the country. We will teach you how to code the UWM way while getting hands-on development experience working on projects that make an impact on the future of the company.
This program will prepare you to be placed on a Salesforce Development team as an Associate Salesforce Developer at UWM!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Train in a classroom environment on the basics of application development at UWM
- Strengthening your knowledge of the Salesforce platform
- Learn foundations of Apex
- Acquire knowledge of frameworks such as Aura & Lightening Web Components
- Introduction to testing strategies and automation tools
- Learn industry-standard application development processes
Must Have Qualifications:
- Experience using C# or Java to write full-stack software
- Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience querying relational databases to retrieve and modify data
- Experience with Unit Testing
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to receive and apply feedback
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Experience with MVC, HTML 5, or CSS
- Experience working in a paired programming environment
- Experience collaborating on group projects
- Ability to mentor others
