The Role
Here at the City of Whittlesea, we are embarking on an ambitious journey to reinvent our digital platforms. Salesforce will play a critical role in this journey and we are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our growing team. You’ll assist in the hands-on development and configuration of City of Whittlesea’s Salesforce platform and ensure that the broader ICT vision is realised through the development of robust, scalable Salesforce solutions.

You’ll assist in the hands-on development and configuration of City of Whittlesea’s Salesforce platform and ensure that the broader ICT vision is realised through the development of robust, scalable Salesforce solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert Salesforce Community Cloud, an expert in source control (Git, AutoRABIT, API), CI/CD, metadata API, Salesforce platform as well as it’s ancillary tools and technologies.
Help ensure that all modules delivered into the City of Whittlesea’s Salesforce platform, be they internally or externally developed, are fit for purpose and developed using consistent best practice approaches.
About you
You will have extensive experience developing complex solutions leveraging Salesforce Community and Service Cloud. You will have a solid programming background with recent experience in software development in the Microsoft stack and be proficient with related tools and best practices. You will have a solid understanding of how to facilitate the interaction of legacy and new systems.
You will be a strong communicator and be comfortable explaining complex technical ideas to people at all levels of the business as well as external vendors. You will be passionate about technology and innovation with a keen eye for detail.
