Adtalem Global Education is looking for a skilled Front-End Developer who can optionally tackle additional full-stack roles in the Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will be first and foremost comfortable creating gorgeous and responsive user interfaces, but also would be capable of completing simpler back-end task to support their display. The ideal candidate should be able to work comfortably alongside other developers, designers, project managers, and customers.
- Collaborate with our Digital Center of Excellence, CRM and Back-End Development teams to create cutting-edge experiences for our institutions.
- Develop and test custom interfaces built on Salesforce and other web platforms with HTML, CSS, Javascript.
- Work with Salesforce technical architecture and Back-End Development teams to assist writing APEX controllers and tests.
- Create and maintain lighting community templates, lightning web components and flows.
- Contribute to code standards and best practices.
- Interact directly with customers to review requirements, design solutions, and lead technical delivery.
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above.
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
- Assist in the management and delivering of large projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer and/or Information Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years experience delivering high-quality front-end experiences.
- Experience with:
- HTML5/CSS3/LESS/SASS and experience with backwards-compatibility techniques.
- Salesforce Sales, Service Cloud and Community Cloud
- Force.com, Apex, Visualforce, Aura and Lightning web components
- SOQL and Salesforce Data Loader
- System integration (REST API), including associated functional and unit test code, and code validation against unit tests.
- Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Well versed in delivering responsive websites.
- Experience implementing JavaScript/jQuery.
- Practiced in using Gulp and Bower with Node.js, or similar packaging and build tools.
- Comfortable working in an agile-based, quick moving environment.
- Familiarity with web services and REST APIs.
- Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.
- History with full-stack development and database concepts.
- Comfortable working in an agile-based, quick moving environment.
- Exposure to Salesforce administration and development.
- Practice with Salesforce Communities, including Lightning.
