About the team
Our technology team accounts for approximately a quarter of the workforce. As an engineer, we encourage direct collaboration with the wider business, and you'd be able to engage directly with anyone across the whole company in order to get the job done. We’re transparent, running regular tech demos every Friday, to show the business what we have been working on. This gives everyone insight and accelerates collaboration.
About you and your work
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be part of our Salesforce team, made up of a Project Manager and external developers reporting to the Head of Development. You’ll be helping build the backend systems used by borrowers and investors alike as well as automating our internal processes to guarantee quick application responses and user experience. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be a key part of a fast-growing and business-critical department.

This is what a typical day might look like:
- Take part in daily standups
- Go through the project board to evaluate the work to be done
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement the best Salesforce architectural solutions using native Salesforce and custom technologies
- Implement the stories with a good code coverage
- Collaborate with the SF Managers to test the stories
- Release your code into production via change-sets
Ideally you’ll have:
- Salesforce Certified Developer 1 and 2 certifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce developer
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com customization functionality - Declarative & Custom Built
- Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows
- Deep knowledge of and experience with Integrations (SOAP, REST, Bulk APIs)
- Object-oriented design and patterns
- Third-party integrations Conga, DocuSign, Twillo
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities
