About this role:

As a Salesforce Administrator/Developer you'll play a vital role at VYE Consulting. Your job will be to coordinate processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to-person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline. We are looking for a dedicated, proactive and driven individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Salesforce Administrator/Developer should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.

We are hiring someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning. If you're certified, that's a plus! The Salesforce Administrator/Developer will work alongside other admins and developers, reporting to a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include devoting detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. The individual we're looking to hire should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. They would also need to be a team player, and have a problem-solving attitude. Job responsibilities:

  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • Manage Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Monitor user adoption
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce product knowledge
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Salesforce knowledge or certification a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
