This position in the Georgia-Pacific Building Products IT team creates long-term value by designing, configuring, and developing features in our CRM and Customer Experience platforms based on salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Initially, this person will be assigned to work with a transformational project team that includes resources from both our internal development team and an external system integrator. That team will be updating functionality in our existing salesforce.com org to work with our new SAP S/4HANA ERP that is being implemented as part of the project.
The general duties of this role (both during the project and afterwards) include:
- Work with business analysts and technical architects to translate user story requirements into technical architectures and designs to use when delivering via configuration or custom code (via flows, triggers, APEX classes, Lightning Web Components, integrations, etc.)
- Provide technical development, testing, and deployment of new functionality, enhancements to existing functionality, and defect remediation for our salesforce.com implementation with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Provide complete and accurate estimates for required configuration and development time
- Work with other onshore and offshore developers in delivery, unit testing, QA, and deployment of user stories and defect fixes
- Maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other technical documentation
- Work with our integration team and other system owners (ERP, CPQ, Finance, etc.) to define and implement integrations of data between salesforce.com and other systems
- Develop and implement data migration strategies as needed to transform and move data from multiple systems into the salesforce.com platform or make updates to data already stored in salesforce.com
- Provide application monitoring and technical support for the salesforce.com platform
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Expertise in salesforce.com design, configuration and development
- Experience with implementing and supporting complex data models in salesforce.com
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology and deployment technologies

- BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS
- Experience in integrating salesforce.com with ERP and/or CPQ platforms
- A passion for delivering value and innovation to customers and internal users via salesforce.com capabilities
- A passion for a well-designed and well-managed salesforce.com implementation
