As a Senior Salesforce Developer at Teradata, you will be a member of the team responsible for the configuration, development, and on-going support of our Salesforce platform. This is an opportunity to design and deliver new customizations, reports, integrations and data migrations in a dynamic and growing organization.
Teradata’s projects, like our users, span the globe and require Salesforce Developers to keep the big picture in focus. Your responsibilities will include identifying system needs and defining changes and customizations to be made to the Salesforce Sales Cloud application. An excellent understanding of Salesforce platform and best practice methods to customize is essential.
Your Opportunity
You will be a member of the IT Development team reporting to the Senior Manager, Salesforce Platform. You will be responsible for the successful development on the Salesforce Platform. You will coordinate across functional groups of individuals with different skills who have been assembled for projects.
Your Role
You must be able to develop and enhance custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
You will participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used.
You will provide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for assigned tasks
You will be responsible documentation in the deployment manifest
You will collaborate with PO’s and BSA’s on tasking and execution.
You will attend and participate in daily standups to discuss progress.
You have the proven ability to establish and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You are an effective communicator and you work well in a collaborative, team setting.
Qualifications
Extensive development experience using Lightning Components, VisualForce, Apex, Test Classes, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Lightning Design System and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Proficiency with the Salesforce data loader for import, update, and export activities in Salesforce.
Background in development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product life-cycle, using Agile/Scrum methodology
Minimum 4 years of Salesforce platform experience (6+ years preferred)
US Master’s degree (in Computer Science or other technical discipline) with 3 years of experience, or BS degree (in Computer Science or other technical discipline) with minimum 4 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CPQ, Service Cloud, Community Builder and Case Management preferred.
